Johnny: I hail from San Angelo and am a cute little piebald dachshund boy. I got my name after being pulled from death row on my last day before being put to sleep. So I became “Johnny on the Spot”. My age is about 6-7 years old and as mini weigh only 12 lbs. I’m a very good boy that’s house trained. Being healthy and active I get around a lot but I’m definitely not a overly hyper guy. However, if I see a cat I go ballistic! So no cats for me please. My most favorite thing in the world is PEOPLE! I’d do well in a position as a Public Relations Officer as I go to clinics with my foster Mom all the time. I believe my job is to run up and down the line of people greeting each and every one. Everyone wants to adopt after they meet me! Toys are great to play with and my very favorite place to sleep is on your pillow! My foster Mom says I’m just the sweetest little companion anyone could ask for. I did have a very brief bout with my back but got better quickly. I’m good as new now. Just to keep me that way, a home with no stairs and calmer environment is right up my alley. While I really like other dogs, large one that might push me around or play too rough is probably not a good idea. There is only one thing missing in my life. That YOU! I’ve dusted off the patio furniture and made ice tea. Now I’m just waiting to talk about going home with you very soon. Hurry, the ice is melting in the tea!
