I have pretty long red hair and an outlook ready to steal the show! At only about a year old, I've learned to fully appreciate good snuggles, a nice massage and a sweet voice talking to me. I'm like having another dog for a playmate and have a gentle nature and style.  I tend to be very calm, but don't let that fool you! I have a very playful side and enjoy a my toy time too! I enjoy being around kids and cats are ok with me too! When we go for a ride in the car, I'll tag along nicely in my crate and would love to snuggle the nights away right next to you in the big bed. Pleasing my person comes naturally to me and I tend to stay very nearby. But, if I'm off somewhere else, just call my name and I'll come running straight to you! I'm hoping for a home with lots of lap time and snuggles. Won't you consider letting me fill your home (and lap!) with my special kind of love?

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
