Scoobie Doobie Doo where are you?  HERE! Here I am along with my fair lady, Love.  Far from a cartoon I’m a playboy-like character at heart as I lavishing my love, sweetness and gentle nature on all those who I capture with my charismatic personality.  But never fear I’m as loyal as the day is long.  My life partner, Love, lives up to her name and then some.  Both being sweetness and light, gentle and friendly companions, we dote on our people with our adoration glimmering in our soft brown eyes.  Of course, it's nice to be rewarded for that adoration with a treat.  Special pets and cuddles work miracles too.  We’ve been moved around a bit so we keep brushing up on our housetraining but our overall personalities are described as incredible.  Doggies doors are a fantastic item as we can come and go to sunbath on the patio.  The rest of our time we will gladly spend in your company, visiting your laps often and applying sweet friendly kisses so you’ll know your doubly loved.  Our coats are luxurious long hair with a shiny black and tan coloring.  While cats don’t seem to be our cup of tea, adults, children and other dogs are great fun.  Love and I are so looking forward doo-being into your life.  Now all we want to know is, “Where are you”? 

Love dachshunds and not ready to adopt or circumstances won't permit having a dog?  How about being a sponsor or making a donation.  Every one of our dachshunds receives excellent medical care along with day to day food, love and housing.  Being non-profit, we rely on generous individuals like yourselves to help save these fur babies.  You can do this specifically for one dog with the sponsor button on their webpage or a general donation on our “How To Help” page.  Easy and quick through Pay Pal or your debit/credit card.  You generosity is sincerely appreciated by all and is tax deductable.  Need other ideas?  You'll find tons of them on the How to Help tab.  All contributions are tax deductable.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
