I guess it's a good thing I'm a standard sized girl! I've got a lot of love to share and my larger frame barely holds it all in! I'm only about 3 years old and found myself lost and at the shelter. My rescuer's took one look at me and knew I was worth saving! My loving nature just oozes sweet affection and I want only to be your constant companion!  I'll rest on a chair near your side, or on your lap if you'll let me! I'd love to walk nicely with you on your evening stroll and go for a ride in the car! I get along great with other dogs and have a social personality to share.  Part of my official duties are ear cleaning, face washing and boo boo licking for everyone one else.  When you have company I’ll bark but settle right down for pets and kisses.  Fantastic house manners as I use the doggie door during the day.  However, if it’s cold or night time I prefer potty pads and am wonderful at using them.  My pretty, short black and tan coat glistens in the sun and I wear a constant smile on my face.  I refuse to let the world get me down and just know that my time is coming soon! Will you be the one to meet me and take me home? I'm waiting patiently for you!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
