I'm making my grand debut! Donning my leather cap and "doggles!" Get ready for take off!  My name is Orville and I have a twin brother named Wilbur! Together we make a great team of pilots ready to explore the world!  I'm only about a year old and weigh in at about 10 pounds.  Wilbur and I look like identical twins! My shiny, short black and tan coat just begs for some stroking and my upbeat attitude will keep you laughing! I've got an energetic attitude and my tail wags so fast, sometimes I think it might spin right off! I'd do best in a home without cats since my adventurous personality may be a bit too exuberant for them.  Wilbur and I are ready to fly to your house and straight in to your heart!  

I decide to take off on my own.  Wilbur is waiting for his own new home.  I went to a nice place on 2.26.12 and trying it out.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
