Now am I a "looker" or what!!!  When handsome, charming, adorable, and sophisticated were passed out.........I got a DOUBLE DOSE!  Living "inside" with my people is brand new and I’m beginning too accept them.  Here we’re working on letting go of so much distrust.  I'm learning crate, housetraining, toy playing, backyard investigation techniques and oh so much more.  I'm happy here and even have a small dog playmate which I really like.  Loud noises are unnerving and children wouldn’t be a good fit in a home life.  I’m a shy fella and need time to warm up to you.  I LOVE ladies but men are just not my cup of tea.  Working on that, but no promises.  Really need a home without men to be my loveable, charming self and a companion friend would make my world complete. Other dogs to play with are wonderful and so much fun to romp around outside with.  Cats are great fun too.  Inside I tend to be reserved but play time inside with my friend and foster Mom is where I can be carefree and goofy.  So if you are a lady who really loves shy reserved “drop dead gorgeous” goofy guys, I’m the one.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
