And bursting onto the rescue bandwagon is the one and only me, Noelle.  Super affectionate and extremely smart, I’m a black and tan mini short hair beauty who has her sights set on a new furever home with someone just like you.  I’m scheduled for heartworm treatment as I wasn’t given my medication.  Once that’s done, I’ll be ready to jump in your arms and go home.  What I needed to begin with was good food and nice warm baths to bring my weight up a bit and shine up my coat.  Unfortunately, I have decided I like to harrass cats so I need a cat-free home.  Sleeping on the big bed is wonderful and I don’t fuss at all.  Going for walks on the leash is great fun and other dogs are delightful company.  I’m doing well with my house manners.  A little help making sure the outside is offered frequently while I learn the doggie door will complete my training.  So, here I am being a very good girl, getting all healthy and looking forward to being your life long companion very soon.  Check back for updates and my picture soon.  Please.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
