Talk about an exciting day!  One moment, I was living the life I had become accustomed to, the next minute I was on my way to a happy future!  I was rescued from a hoarding situation where I spent my days living with 30+ other dogs. We didn't get the best food or care there, so my coat is a bit dull and sparse.  I never imagined a life would be any different, then the next thing I knew, I was being rescued and given a chance to live the life I never dared to dream!  Good food, medical care and love have started making my fur all shiney and new!  The clock seems to tick backward for me and now I'm looking even younger than the estimate of my age!  I was a bit unsure of all the changes, but I just know that with a loving family to guide me along the way, I'll soon forget the past and live securely in the present!  Having a dog friend for company would really make things feel more secure. I'm blossoming into a very happy and playful girl!  When you come home, I'll spin in excitement to see you!  Please come home to me soon!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
