My name is Delilah Rose and I am starting my search for my new family. I have so much love to share, won’t you give me a chance?? I'm a sweet little lady who absolutely loves car rides! I am very well behaved in the car and sit very quietly looking out the window or sit on your lap to help you drive. I am a very serious snuggle-bunny, I won’t be far from your side no matter what you are doing. I love to sit in my doggie bed quietly and chew on a tasty bone. I am crate trained and am getting good reminders on potty training. I am very good at self-entertainment, but I love to be next to my human as much as possible. I truly enjoy being outside, I even go potty when it is raining outside! I don’t really mind baths, my foster Mom says there’s not much that really bothers me. I am a little cautious of men I don’t know, I do come around once I get used to you and I know you are going to be kind to me. I love all kinds of treats and am gaining weight very nicely. I am ready to find my forever family and get settled in! I would love a family another dog for me to play with, I am good with children and cats are fun to chase. I get along great with all other dogs I meet, I am very friendly and lots of fun. I hope you give me a chance to be part of your family!

Every one of our dachshunds receives excellent medical care along with day to day food, love and housing. Being non-profit, we rely on generous individuals like yourselves to help save these fur babies. Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.
