3 Wire haired youngsters! -- I know you have all been waiting for a wire haired furkid! We have 3 in rescue photos to come!!! Right now they are being treated for Sarcoptic mange and being vetted, but soon as we get some pictures, theyll be posted. Boys, girls, black and tans and wild boars! Age is approximately 9 or 10 months, and they would be tweenies or small standards when fully grown. As soon as they get vetted and I get photos of them, theyll be posted for adoption! update june 23.07 Pictures are of Zachary and Zoey one more to come. Ready to go for adoption! UPDATE 8/15/07 Zachary and Zoey are the two wire kids we have here. They are getting large and in charge! Miss Zoey is very much a dominant alpha female loves, loves, loves people and her brother Zachary, but shes too dominant for most other dogs. Shes also huge weighs in at 22 pounds so far! A big, beautiful, stocky, gorgeous wire haired female. Zachary is precious, a little shy at first, but is enjoying his petting and kisses more and more. Zacky gets along well with just about everyone so far and is a little smaller than his sister, Zachary is only 17 pounds! Great kids. Their brother Zeuss was adopted shortly after coming to rescue all are spayed, neutered, current on shots, fecal and hw negative, on preventative and are microchipped. update 11.19.07 california dogs now

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
