Hi, I'm new into rescue.  I came in as a stray however, I have been fed very well.  I have lost a couple of pounds but could still stand to lose some more.  I'm finicky when it comes to my food.   I love belly rubs and cuddling.  I have a little separation anxiety but nothing terrible.  I like to jump so you really need to watch me because I don't need to hurt my back.  When I arrived at the shelter I had a patch of my hair that was already shaved off.  It should grow back in no time but to be honest it is keeping me cool in this Texas heat.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
