Hey there.  I am a handsome wheaten wirehair bo.  Our owner was no longer able to take care of me so they wanted me to have a great home and turned to rescue.  I'm approx 4 yrs old and 11 lbs but it wouldn't hurt me to gain about a pound.  I am a sweet boy that is very low maintenance.  I do well in the car and am crate trained.  I get along well with my other foster  dogs.   I will come right up to you at first then I become shy/timid.   I don't play with toys or the other dogs.  I would like a nice family willing to be patient with me.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
