I'm having a fun time with my foster family!  I have an older brother and sister that I romp and run outside with and we all get along and share a bed.  We even get to sleep in my foster mom's big bed.  My foster mom say's I do very well with routine and she has been helping me with my house training by letting me and my brother and sister out regularly in the back yard.  It would be great to have a doggy door in my forever home.  Did I say I LOVE to go on walk's!  My foster mom say's I get so excited when I hear the leash jiggle that I'm already at the door ready to go!

I also LOVE toys, a doggie can never have more than just one.  I also enjoy my food and I came from a past with very little food and I can be a bit food aggressive if my doggie brother or sister come by my bowl, so my foster mom just feeds us in separate rooms and I do fine.  I love kids and other dogs but not so fond of cats.
My foster mom and her friends say I'm a major sweetie, I love to cuddle and I have soft sweet brown eyes that will melt your heart!

I have a great foster home but I am really looking for my forever home.  Someone to take me on walks and to the dog parks,  and I would love a doggie buddy to play with and share toys with.  Please think of me for your family and submit an application and I could be your next bundle of joy!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
