You've heard all about Shady Mae and JoJo Fideo.... but have you yet been blown away by their perfect doxie-ness? Here they are in their absolute glory. They should be available for adoption sometime in the near future.... but don't wait  to submit your application!!! Serious perfection like this is HARD to find and will go really fast. 

Are you looking for the most perfect couple to add to your family? Look no further!!! At about 2 years old each, JoJo Fideo (Fideo means "noodle" in Spanish) and Shady Mae are looking for a loving lap (or two) to call their own. In their short lives they have been jostled from home to home several times.... and I can not figure out how ANYONE wouldn't love them! While they love each other deeply, they love people even more. If you want some extreme snuggling look no further than JoJo and Shady. If your lap is available, one or both of them WILL be in it. They are extremely loyal and follow you around keeping you company at all times. Perfect for literally ANY family, they love kids, babies and other small dogs--- though large dogs are NOT ok with JoJo. He has to protect his little wife! Both enjoy toys and de-stuffing them, snuggling literally anywhere they can, and did I mention snuggling? With gentle and positive personalities, JoJo and Shady are ideal companions. JoJo is working hard on being 100% house trained and Shady does really well with a dog door or pee pads. Both are crate trained but prefer to be with you at all times. They have informed me that their ideal home would be with a stay at home person--- they aren't fond of alone time and wish to be wherever you are. Believe me when I say, Shady and JoJo are amazing, ideal dogs and whoever adopts them will have YEARS of amazing love to share.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
