Yes, I AM the mother of The Charleston Gang… but don’t lump me in with those trouble makers, those rag-a-muffins, those saps! It’s just baloney, I tell ya! I am a red, smooth-coated, 6 year old dame who my foster family says is just the cat’s meow—that I say, “AND HOW!” Now that I am done with this litter of puppies, the bank’s closed, I tell ya—and couldn’t be more ready to put on my glad rags and head on out to the speakeasy—or at least to a new home. I’ll be on the level with ya, I get all goofy about hugs and kisses, ya know, I just can’t get enough! My ideal future involves a new Daddy/Jane/Person who will lavish me with love and cuddles. I am simply ducky with kids and other dogs, but I can’t speak for those furballs known as “cats”. My foster people think I get the heebie-jeebies about going outside to potty, but I tell ya, I was framed! Ok, fine, I’ll level with ya, it’s not that there’s nobody home, I just haven’t figured it out yet. I do pretty well when left alone and I swear I haven’t destroyed anything—I leave that my crazy puppies! Look, all I want is a swell home with someone to love me… I deserve it after everything I’ve been through! Do you think you could be the ones to hold me, cuddle me, and kiss me forever?
Translation:
Yes, I AM the mother of The Charleston Gang… but don’t think I am like those troublemaker puppies! It’s just not true. I am a red, smooth-coated, 6 year old female who my foster family says is just great—I agree! Now that I am done with this litter of puppies, I am so happy to be done having puppies! I can’t wait to pack up my stuff and find myself a new place to live. I will be honest with you, I love hugs and kisses and I can’t get enough of them! My ideal future involves a man/woman/person who will lavish me with love and cuddles. I am great with kids and other dogs, but my foster family isn’t real sure how I am with cats since they do not have one. My foster family thinks that maybe I am afraid to be outside alone to go potty, but it is all lies! Ok, fine, I’ll be honest, I am not dumb, I just haven’t figured out the doggie door yet. I do pretty well when left alone and I have not destroyed anything… I let my puppies do that. All I want is a nice home with someone to love me—I deserve it after all I have been through. Do you think you could be the ones to hold me, cuddle me, and kiss me forever?
