I'm a young, rambunctious, 1 yr old, 15lb boy that loves to sit beside my human and be petted I need a playmate such as another dog or an older child to play with. I do well with the other dogs in my foster home. I need someone who will take the time to teach me how to walk on a leash, house manners, etc. My foster family has been teaching me the leash, with a harness of course, and I do well when alone but with other dogs I like to rush ahead. You will need to keep your chairs pushed in as I love to get up on the table. I'm a typical puppy dachshund that would love a home to learn in. I'm working on my house training and know how to use the doggy door. Like most dachshunds I don't like the cold, wet ground. I don't mind sleeping in the kennel at time as long as I'm in the room with my foster parents. If I'm in another room I tend to cry. I tend o bark and howl when I have to go in my kennel when my foster parents leave but eventually I stop. I get so excited when they come home.
