Doty is about as sweet as they come. She is playful and loving her 3 month old foster sister, Ritzy. Doty must be around her people even when she is playing with other dogs or her toys. She is loving and a real joy. While she has definitely had some hardships while she was a stray, she is recovering nicely and her earaches are definitely on the mend. She will be ready for a home after the holidays. Foster mom says I'm the perfect little houseguest. I get along with all the dogs here, love human attention and I love my human little girl. I love to play with dogs, kids and toys. I'm a tiny girl at only 9 pounds but should put on a pound or so now that I'm eating good food. Won't you open your hearts and homes for this wonderful little girl. I promise to love you back. I'm waiting for you and hoping to finding my forever home this new year.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
