Cocoa Bean came back to DDRTX due to some anxiety in her very active home.  She has started anxiety medicine and it is helping her.  She needs love, support, and patience.

She has a lot of energy and loves to run and chase her ball.  She loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home.  She likes her foster mom and will take treats from her but her foster dad can't get too close- she is just nervous. 

Cocoa Bean is potty trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside.  She can use the doggy door but also like to have the door opened for her!  She likes to be in the same room and usually will lay at your feet or on your feet!!

Cocoa Bean would be best at a house with women only - she seems to be frightened by men and children or kids.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
