Parker Diamond has been with DDRTX and his foster family for several years.  He has made great progress with his Foster Mom.  It took almost a year before she was able to even touch Parker, but now he trusts her and will love and snuggle her.

Mr. Parker is just as sweet as he is handsome!  He absolutely loves his squeaky toys!  He really enjoys sunbathing in the backyard.  While he is still very fearful of other humans, he does get along very well with his Foster dog sisters and loves when his Foster Mom's doxie grandson comes to visit!

Parker Diamond remains very fearful of people and changes in his environment.  He will only be available for sponsorship as we continue to provide him with the stability, love, and expert help to overcome his fears.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
