Fritz Dennis
In 2003, we adopted our sweet wonderful Percival (aka Chewy) from Christine. So when we wanted to add another dachshund to the family we knew to check the DDRTX website. We had been checking the available dogs section for a little while when a picture appeared on Facebook of this big ol' boy sitting on his foster Dad's lap at an adoption event. We knew he was meant to be ours. So after exchanging emails with Lee and Nancy (Fritz's foster parents), we asked if Fritz would like to live in Alabama. With the help of Christine, Lisa, Rachael, Carole, DDRTX, and Pilots N' Paws Fritz, was on his way home. We picked him up the day before Thanksgiving. We were so happy to have him home for the holidays. He is such a sweet funny smart boy with beautiful cinnamon colored fur. He loves to go for walks and play with his little tennis ball and is a big "helper" is the kitchen. We love him very much and are so glad to have him apart of our family. God Bless DDRTX, Christine, and all the volunteers for all they do for these wonderful pups!
