Maggie Mae came to Diamond Dachshund after she sustained trauma to her pelvis and rear right leg.  She has made amazing progress since she entered rescue.  She is now walking, and even knows how to use the doggy door.

Maggie is just chock full of personality and is a delight to her foster mom. She is very vocal about her desires, and 'talks' about her day if you ask her. She is friendly with her foster fur-siblings, and loves to cuddle.

She is a very lively girl who enjoys playing with toys. Maggie Mae is very smart and can outwit any treat toy or puzzle you give her. She is housebroken and enjoys a spot in the yard relaxing after she does her business. She is good with older children, but does not care for younger kids. The only interaction she has with cats in her foster home are the kitties across the fence. She seems interested in them, but does not bark.

She has had her dental work done already, especially important for a lady of her age. She has been completely vetted and ready to find her forever home.
