ello all,  my name is Elliott! I'm a chocolate brindle boy weighing in at about 12 pounds and I am almost 2 years old.
I was found in the streets and boy was I a mess!  I was dehydrated,  malnourished and covered in those nasty fleas.  But DDRTX took me in and fixed me all up so now I'm good to go and ready to find my very own home.
I'm a little shy at first, but once I get comfortable in my new place,  you'll see my personality come out. I love to run and play so I need to find a home where I'll be able to get some good exercise.  And having another pup around when I'm left alone would be nice too,  I find that comforting. Although I like to play,  I would sit in your lap for as long as you would let me.  I do love to cuddle.
I'm actually pretty smart....I quickly caught on to the routine in my foster home,  I'm house trained,  I can use a doggie door and I sleep through the night.
I can't wait to find my new family.  So if you think I sound like someone you might want to meet, let me know!

Elliot recently had eye removal surgery.  His one eye had some issues and it couldn't be saved. He is feeling better and will have a recheck very soon.  Once cleared by the vet, he will be more than ready to find a home.
