Kato

Our sweet little Kato (previously Avocado) crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 5, 2020 after a fight with lung cancer.  From the moment he came into our lives, we knew he was a special little soul.  He had a loving, endearing nature that took a powerful hold on our hearts. He loved being around his human friends and was always ready to go for a walk around the neighborhood, a ride in the car, or just to sit on the recliner and watch TV together. When we started working from home, he had a special bed in the home office where he waited patiently as we did our work. He could be insistent if his meals or his treats were not provided on the schedule he wanted. We would often laugh as he whinnied and pawed like a horsey if he wanted a taste of our food and did not get it. He was also a wonderful cousin to Ebony Lace. Timid and scared when she first came to us, she blossomed under Kato’s tutelage. Together they shared a home, a life, and many happy times. At the end of every day he looked forward to his very favorite place—in the bed with his human, burrowed deep under the blankets. We will miss Kato greatly.  He brought great joy into our lives!

Holly

2004-2019

You were our guardian angel with paws. Thank you for sharing your life with us and leading us to a deeper level of love. There will forever be a space without you. We miss you dearly, but are relieved that you are free.

Nose bump,                                                                                                                  Love your family: Linda, Mark, and Annalyn

Topanga

Dear Topanga,

You were the most loving, caring weiner and you will be missed sorely. You were so smart and loved to read with your special dachshund glasses... you also loved to bark up the trees, chase the deer and the squirrels.

You greeted us every time we came home like we'd been gone for a year, even if it was only 5 minutes. We were so lucky you were in our lives for so long. Enjoy zoomies with Wink and we can't wait to see you again one day.

Love,   Arianna and Addison

Kaaz

November 6, 2003 - July 22, 2017

Kaaz came from your agency about 7 years ago. He was my best friend during some the darkest hours of my life. He was always so excited when I came home and he never wanted to leave my side.  Everyone who met him loved him and we were devastated when he passed away on July 22, 2017.

Barney "Barnabus"

From the day we first set eyes on you Barnabus, you became our “Barney.”  Your story tore at our hearts and we knew we wanted you to come live with us and give you love and a happy home.  We brought you home on New Year’s day 2016. You left us November 25, 2016.  Too soon for us but you were loved so very much.

Dear Barney we will always miss your sweet face but we also know you are free of pain and that you are running and playing like you should have all your life.

Have fun over the Rainbow Bridge!

Mom and Dad Perna
